This is a very solid unit, I was after a strong Tripod. I wanted a tripod for my new 180-600, as my current tripod was too flimsy. I am blown away with how strong and sturdy this tripod is, the 5 piece legs means it folds up quite short, there are thick rubber grips on the releases on the legs, unlike my old tripod, all of the connections are metal. It is really sturdy. The legs click into different widths and it comes with a centre pole for more extension, but without this it is perfect for my lense and Gimbal head. The bag is long enough for a head to be attached, and comes with a good heavy duty zip, and is well padded, it can be opened lengthways or just at the top. After researching for a few days and watching heaps of tripod reviews, this ticked all the boxes, and I am not dissapointed.
